2008 Open House Schedule

The Cal Sailing Club offers free sailboat rides to the general public during our Open Houses. This is a great way to discover the joy of sailing and learn more about CSC. There is no obligation to join the club.

Club members volunteer to provide the sailboat rides, which are given on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive at our clubhouse between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to sign up on the list. Wear warm, waterproof clothing, and bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

Please note: children must be at least five years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Open Houses are weather permitting! If it is raining, the open house will be cancelled.

The Open House dates listed above are scheduled to coincide with high tides in our home waters--the South Sailing Basin--and community events held in the Berkeley Marina.

From April to October and whenever the spirit moves us, members enjoy a BBQ after the Open House rides are finished. Bring your own or contribute $5 towards the cost of food purchased by the club.
