We are now keeping the dinghy fleet repair status on-line. We've got some google spreadsheets for Bahias and JYs.  It's still a work in progress, but we hope to get it more and more up to date.  If a dinghy needs fixing, or if you fix something, shoot an e-mail off to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Windsurfing Lessons now Sunday and Saturday am! Beginning Windsurfing Lessons -- Saturday 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and Sunday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm except in no wind and cold weather. Saturday lessons are for beginners, Sunday lessons are for beginners and also for advanced beginners or intermediates to get additional instruction.

To take a windsurfing lesson, arrive at the club before 10:30 am on Saturday or 11:00 am on Sunday and sign-up in the clubhouse. Because there is a limited amount of equipment, the class is limited to the first 20 people signed up.

Study up before hand with Bill P's new How to Windsurf Guide; there is a LOT of information here which will serve you for quite some time; you will need only a small fraction of this to have a fun, effective first day on our great beginner equipment.

Thursday Evening JY Racing Open to all members, regardless of rating or racing experience. Come on down to the club for a relaxed evening of fun and racing, rigging starts at 5:00 pm and racing starts at 6:00 pm.

Introductory Sails At our Open Houses we offer an opportunity to put on a personal flotation device (aka lifejacket) and learn first hand how to enjoy safe, non-polluting fun on a sailboat. Sign up in front of the clubhouse between 1 and 4 pm. Children must be 5 or over and accompanied by parent or guardian. Bring a change of clothes, strap for eyeglasses or sunglasses, and a change of clothes in case you get soaked! Here's the schedule for 2010.

Big thanks to Cal Boating (California Department of Boating and Waterways) for funding a ton of new equipment for our boating and windsurfing safety classes, including our Introductory Sails: Two new outboard motors for our safety boats, sixty new wetsuits, twelve new beginner windsurf boards and sails, and new sails and masts for our trainer dinghy sailboats.
