A family membership can be purchased for $100 cash or check only in the clubhouse.
Before you come in, please:
1. "Purchase" a free temporary membership for each family member.
2. Fill out liability and medical forms for each family member under 17.
Before you decide on a family membership, consider that a family member does not need a membership to go out on a boat that is signed out by another family member. You do need a membership to sign out a boat or windsurfer, or to go out on a lesson, but not to go out on a boat signed out by a family member.
Also, consider that a youth membership will be discounted to $1 if the youth member agrees to show up 4 times to help on Saturday or Sunday windsurf lessons once they learn to windsurf.
With a family membership, each member needs a membership number, which you get by "purchasing" a free temporary membership here. Please do this before you come to the clubhouse. Otherwise you will be tying up the clubhouse computer. Remember to log out of your account before trying to create the free membership for the next person.
Each family member under 17 needs to be approved for membership by an ExComm officer or appointee, to make sure that the parents/guardians are aware that the club does not provide any supervision specifically for children, that children will be treated as adults, and that sailing and windsurfing involve risks.
Each family member under 17 needs to have two forms on file, which you should fill out before you come to the clubhouse: a release of liability form, and a medical information form.
Bring your membership ID's and the youth member forms to the clubhouse, along with your cash or check for $100, and find an ExComm officer to approve the under 17 members. Then the dayleader will process your memberships, and set your expiration date to 3 months.
