OFFICER REPORTS

Commodore: We are working on producing a CSC podcast with Carolyn Cooper. It will be hosted on the website, and we will work on it more during the offseason. Stay tuned!

Vice Commodore:  In order to better track spending within our budget, we are working on an approval system to manage expenditures.

First Vice: We are talking to West Coast Sailing about getting another Quest this year. Dan Z. is spearheading an effort to find additional grants. Two of our members, Chrissy Sollenberger and Jill Marshall, are professional grant writers and putting in much time to support the effort.

Secretary: CSC tshirts are in the works! We’re still figuring out whether we want to print them ourselves (BYO shirt DIY day at the club?) or pay to have them printed professionally. A series of possible designs will debut at the November GMM, where members will vote and decide on which design(s) will get printed.

Treasurer: [Stella]

We have $34,850 in the bank, down $13,791 from our last meeting 8/21/16.  We have a grant funds reimbursement request in to the Division of Boating and Waterways for $30,996 for the 2 RS Quests and 12 novice windsurf boards and sails.  We have $9,004 remaining in our grant budget, earmarked for new outboards, but we can submit a budget change request.  We have until 1/31/17 to spend the remaining $$.
