X-Buoy Race
Description
Arrival time at CSC is 1pm, with a 5 minute starting sequence at 2 pm! X-Buoy races are limited to Junior and above rated sailors, with at least one senior per boat. If there are more juniors than there are spots available, a lottery system will be used to determine who will be racing with preference given to those who have signed up for previous races and not gotten selected. These races have been a lot of fun, lasting about an hour depending on wind conditions. We fly spinnakers and usually end up taking Ventures, the RS 500s, and windsurfers scoring the boats based on the Portsmouth Yardstick. This will be the last one for the season, so come on out and have a great time!
